Booking Information
All session prices include admission, use of the Coach House and materials, and free parking for coaches. Please note that there is a minimum charge for groups of less than 20 pupils.
Teachers are requested to pay by cash or cheque at the start of their visit at the till in reception. Teachers and accompanying adults are free.
Our suggested ratios of adults to pupils are: 1:5 (up to and including KS1), 1:10 (KS2). Copies of risk assessments are available on request at the time of booking. There is wheelchair access to the House, Church and Education Room, and an accessible toilet available in the Coach House. Story box audio guides are available in the Library, Dining Room, Drawing Room, State Bedroom and the Lady Diana Spencer room.
The cost of the visit includes use of our Education Room for lunches and many of our school parties make a day of it and stay on after their taught sessions to enjoy our other facilities which include:
Teacher-led Visits
Lydiard Park can also be used for teacher-led activities. The standard group admission charge to Lydiard House and Walled Garden will apply.
Our Education Room in the Coach House is also available for hire for £20 per hour (please note that this is subject to availability and that taught sessions take priority). The Coach House seats 36 at tables.
Shop *
Our small shop offers a great selection of fun, pocket-money items for sale, starting at just 25p. In an unhurried friendly environment children are encouraged to make their choices, add up the costs, pay for their items and check their change: A good way of introducing financial education to your pupils!
